NATO Statement

On Tuesday, NATO released a statement calling Russia's repeated airspace incursions against multiple NATO states an "increasingly irresponsible" act.

Moscow Drone Attack

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, at least 46 Ukrainian drones were shot down from Monday night to Tuesday. Russian Defense Ministry data indicated that this was a major drone barrage.

Sobyanin confirmed that there were no casualties, but emergency services were active following reports of falling debris.

The Defense Ministry said it shot down 127 drones from Monday midnight to Tuesday afternoon. And on Monday alone, it claimed 236 drones were shot down – the highest single-day tally since September.

Zelenskyy's Appeal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that world powers must impose stronger sanctions and political pressure on Russia.

He said: "Europe, the USA, the G7, the G20 – all those who have influence over Russia – must take strong steps."

He wrote on social media: "Ukraine must become stronger. Almost two dozen meetings are planned. Strong sanctions, strong pressure, Russia's accountability – everything is necessary."

Drone Strikes and Flight Disruptions

Ukrainian drones also reportedly targeted Yelabuga (Tatarstan) – the site of a major Russian long-range strike drone manufacturing facility.

Drone attacks disrupted flights in Russia.

Moscow airports (Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky) were placed under temporary restrictions.

Flights were also halted at other airports, such as Yaroslavl, Saratov, Samara, Kazan, Gelendzhik, etc.

Russian Strikes Continue

Russia also continued its nightly strike campaign. The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia launched 3 missiles and 115 drones, of which 103 were shot down or suppressed.

But the impact of the strikes occurred in Zaporizhzhia and Odessa – where at least two civilians were killed and civilian infrastructure was targeted.

NATO's Warning

NATO stated clearly: "Russia should be in no doubt – we will use military and non-military tools for our defense, in accordance with international law. We will respond in our own way, at our own time, and within our own domain."
