A MAN has been shot dead while riding as a car passenger in west London.

Paramedics battled to save the victim's life but he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after they arrived.
Police said the man's family have been informed of his death.
The incident comes less than 24 hours after Met Police were scrambled to reports of shots being fired in Southall near Ealing.
Armed cops descended on the scene at a small business on The Broadway.
There were unconfirmed reports the target of the attack was a barbershop. No arrests have been made.
