Sedition case against 200 Congress workers for shouting 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans during rally for Uri martyrs

Moradabad: In a major blow to Congress, sedition case has been filed against 200 party workers for allegedly shouting  'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans during a rally in UP's Moradabad.

The rally was organised to pay tribute to Uri terror attack martyrs.

The police lodged case against the Congress workers after reports claimed about pro-Pakistan slogans, according to a report in Dainik Jagran.

Congress workers on Saturday took out a rally from Kashipur Road to SDM office in Moradabad.

It's been alleged that several Congress workers had shouted 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans during the rally. The rally was recorded as well.

18 Indian soldiers were martyred in Uri terror attack last Sunday.

Several top world leaders have condemned the terror attack and slammed Pakistan for it.
