Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan's latest movie directed by Kabir Khan, has shown strong performance at the box office in its initial days. Released on June 14, the film collected ₹4.75 crore on its fourth day, matching its opening day earnings. This consistency indicates stable audience interest and positive reception.

The biopic portrays the journey of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medallist, highlighting his historic win at the 1972 Summer Paralympics in Germany. Riding on positive word-of-mouth, Chandu Champion saw a significant increase in collections over the weekend: a 47.37% rise on Saturday with ₹7 crore and a further 39.29% increase on Sunday with ₹9.75 crore. As of now, the film has amassed ₹26.25 crore domestically and an additional ₹7.4 crore from overseas markets, totaling a robust ₹33 crore at the global box office.

Directed by Kabir Khan, known for his blockbuster hits like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and 83, Chandu Champion marks Kartik Aaryan's second collaboration with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Their previous film, Satyaprem Ki Katha, earned ₹118.5 crore worldwide against a production budget of ₹60 crore.

Critically, the film has garnered praise for Kartik Aaryan's portrayal, described by Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV as "career-best" and Renuka Vyavahare of The Times of India echoing similar sentiments. However, some reviews, like Mayank Shekhar's on Mid-Day, have been less favorable.

With a production and advertising budget reportedly totaling ₹120 crore, Chandu Champion aims to continue its successful run at the box office, bolstered by positive reviews and strong audience turnout.
