A bank analyst who fell to his death on a cruise ship was celebrating his upcoming wedding, it has emerged.

Christopher McGrory, 29, from Palm Beach, Miami, had been enjoying a bachelor party on the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line’s Grand Classica ship.
The 1680-passenger vessel was 21km east of the Port of Palm Beach, en route to Freeport, in the Bahamas, when he fell from one of the ship’s ten storeys to a lower deck last Friday.
He was taken to shore by the US Coast Guard and then to St Mary’s Medical Centre, in West Palm Beach, when he was pronounced dead.
FSU graduate McGrory had been due to marry fiancé Jessica Arnettfrom Yulee, on December 1.
The couple had met four years ago in Tallahassee. He had been working at a Wells Fargo bank in Fernandina Beach.
Ms Arnett wrote in a Facebook post: “With a heavy, heavy broken heart, it kills me to write this as it all seems surreal but I should tell you all my sweet sweet Chris was in a tragic accident and has passed away,”

“I’m at a loss for words, that man was my true love and my best friend. Please keep us all in your prayers.”
Ms Arnett’s grandmother told the Palm Beach Post that McGrory’s brother had been among the wedding party.
She said the last few days had been hard on her granddaughter.
“He was the love of her life,” she said.

The Grand Classica and its sister ship, the Grand Celebration, began operations in April.
