A strong earthquake has jolted Indonesia. The tremors were felt on Flores Island this morning. The earthquake measured 7.6 on the Richter scale.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Indonesia a few days ago as well. The magnitude of the earthquake, which had hit Indonesia on December 5, was measured at 6.0 on the Richter scale. 

Millions of people were killed in a devastating earthquake that had hit Indonesia in 2004. The tsunami that followed that earthquake had killed more than two lakh people. Besides, thousands of people were also missing.
