THE Australian organiser of a raunchy pool party in Thailand’s party city of Pattaya has been grilled by police after “pornographic” videos emerged from the event.

Two guests were filmed simulating sex and oral sex with a bikini-clad Thai woman surrounded by cheering guests in a beachfront pool on Saturday night.

Footage of the “obscene” behaviour sparked outrage and heavy-handed cops descended on the hotel on Monday to grill the owner and launch a manhunt for the filmer and the two male tourists involved.

Coran Maloney — whose firm Kolour Entertainment organises boozy parties — was called to give evidence to an “inquiry” by police.

He is not facing charges, but police are desperate to prosecute the people in the video and the filmer for breaking the country’s obscenity laws and computer crime act by filming the men in the pool.

A police source said officers in the notoriously seedy red light city were “under strict commands” from the country’s military junta to punish anything inappropriate in a bid to boost tourism by attracting more families to the area.

After turning up with his wife, Mr Maloney told police the people in the video were “guests in the event”.

“For the entertainment for the guests we have food available, artists, production, lighting sound. We had a mascot,” he said.

“We know who they are but I have … I have their name and phone number. I just tried calling him but his phone is off now. I think he’s scared.’’

The hotel’s owner, staff and waiters were also summoned to speak with Pattaya police chief Apichai Krobpetch over the incident.

Footage of one holiday-maker simulating sex with a bikini-clad woman in front of cheering guests sparked outrage after it emerged online and was handed to police.

A second clip showed a guest in a sailor’s hat appearing to perform oral sex on the same woman while music blears in the background. The clip has the Thai words for “having sex’’ written on it.

Officers from the city’s police force launched an investigation on Sunday accusing the party of ‘’damaging the reputation of the city’’ and “causing people to view the area negatively’’.

They visited the up-market A-one Royal Cruise Hotel on Monday and vowed to prosecute the two men in the footage and the person who captured the footage. They face fines of 1,000 baht (about $40) each.

“I have seen the video clip of this event and it is not appropriate,” Mr Krobpetch said.

“Although the woman is wearing a swimsuit it is still obscene and they are guilty of creating a pornographic show.

“The photographer and the people in the video will be referred to a prosecution for obscenity.

“The investigation will now focus on three sections: the organisers, the hotel owner and the people in the video.

“What happened in the video was obscene. This can bring the image of Pattaya into disrepute and cause people to view the area negatively.”

Hotel manager Somchai Ratanopa admitted the clip showed the hotel and blamed “foreigners who had rented the venue”.

“The event was arrange and this was the second time the specific group had used the hotel,” Mr Ratanopa said.

Speaking to a reporter during the police inquiry press show, Mr Maloney said what happened at the party on Saturday night “was horrible”.

“I’ve been doing these events for seven years and we’ve never had anything like that happen before,” he said.

“We’re family friendly and we’ve had people attend of all ages. We don’t attract that kind of crowd.

“We’re co-operating with police and giving them all the information we have. The person that they most want to speak with is the person who filmed it.”
