Addressing the nation on the 72nd Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he is anxious about the state of affairs in the country and how he wants to effect change through his polices.

In the concluding moments of his speech, he used terms like 'besabra', 'vyakul', 'vyagra', and 'aatur' (Hindi synonyms for the word restless) in a quick succession in sentences running less than two minutes.
Making an emotional pitch in his speech, the prime minister said, "I am restless because we have to go ahead of the countries that are ahead of us at present. I am restless because we have to overcome malnourishment that has become a hindrance to the progress of our children."
The PM said he was eager to extend affordable health care to the poor so that they are prepared to fight medical emergencies.
Speaking about the country's future, Modi said that he is eager to lead the nation in an industrial revolution that is based on knowledge so that the country can exploit the maximum from its resources.
