BREAKING: Queen’s doctor KILLED in horror lorry crash

A DOCTOR to the Queen has been killed while cycling in central London on National Cycle to Work Day, it has emerged.

Dr Peter Fisher, who served as a homeopathic physician to Her Maj for more than a decade, died in a horror collision with a lorry in High Holborn yesterday morning.

The 67-year-old "world leader" had been the Director of Research at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine, which was close to the crash scene.

He was also the President of the Faculty of Homeopathy, where the chief executive has described him as an "irreplaceable" talent" who was a "giant" in all of his fields.

The doctor had served the Queen for 15 years as part of the royal medical household.

Greg White, chief executive of the Faculty of Homeopathy, paid tribute saying: “We have lost a leader, not just for the faculty but for homeopathy in the UK and worldwide.

“It’s no exaggeration to say Peter is an irreplaceable talent. He truly was a giant in all his fields of endeavour, which included clinician, researcher and academic.”

Dr Fisher was a world expert in homeopathy – a medicine treatment that uses highly diluted substances, which practitioners claim can cause the body to heal itself.

Sir Marcus Setchell, Her Majesty’s former surgeon-gynaecologist, told the Evening Standard: “He was much respected as a good doctor who saw homeopathy as complementary to medical care.

"We are all shocked by his tragic loss.”

Dr Fisher is the eighth cyclist killed in the capital so far this year.
